Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of São Paulo (USP), his research explores the portrayal of the Afro-Brazilian population and the interpersonal issues that intersect with it: emotional exchanges, the search for image awareness, intersections and the plurality of experiences. These works seek to identify the national and the contemporary through the
representation of habits, architecture, objects, clothing and other cultural signs/artefacts.
Throughout his career, he has exhibited his work at institutions such as the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP), Rio Art Museum (MAR), National Museum of the Republic, National Museum of Afro-Brazilian Culture (Muncab), Banco do Brasil Cultural Center (CCBB) in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Belo Horizonte, , the São Paulo Cultural Center (CCSP), as well as national and international art fairs such as SP Arte, Art Rio, and 1-54 Contemporary African Art Fair. His works are included in important collections, such as the São Paulo Museum of Art (MASP) and the Cheng-Lan Foundation. His first solo exhibition, “Batinga,” was held in 2024 at the Verve Gallery.
